Hospitality and Tourism DegreeTwo-year program leading to Associate of Occupational Science Degree The curriculum for the Southeast Culinary & Hospitality College is based on the classical principles, emphasizing progressive techniques and trends. Students are taught in modern facilities and in operating restaurants and hospitality businesses where they recieve practical experience. Program objectives: This program prepares individuals to serve as assistant general managers and directors of hospitality operations on a system-wide basis, including both travel arrangements and promotion and the provision of traveler facilities. Includes instruction in principles of operations in the travel and tourism, hotel and lodging facilities, food services, and recreation facilities industries; hospitality marketing strategies; hospitality planning; management and coordination of franchise and unit operations; business managment; accounting and financial management; hospitality transportation and logistics; and hospitality industry policies and regulations. Students successfully completing this program will earn an Associate of Occupational Science Degree.
